About Nonica
Nonica’s passion for osteopathy began to develop after receiving osteopathic treatments for injuries as an elite, international ballet and contemporary dancer.
Having received four awards for outstanding academic performance in her osteopathic degree, Nonica Papageorgiou continues to demonstrate a passion for the osteopathic practice, combined with excellent clinical skills and high-quality patient care.
Nonica studied for her Masters of Osteopathy qualification at the prestigious University College of Osteopathy (formerly British School of Osteopathy).
She qualified with distinction and graduated top of her year.
She received consecutive awards for best overall academic performance during her studies; including the Silver Award for outstanding academic excellence and the R.K Hardy Prize for her research.
Her love of people, followed by her passion about osteopathy is what makes Nonica an exceptional practitioner. She is a deeply caring and kind osteopath who has experience working with people of different ages and walks of life. She has experience treating a wide variety of neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions, and her management is specifically tailored towards the patient’s needs.
Prior to her career as an osteopath, Nonica trained at the Greek National Ballet and London Contemporary Dance School and performed internationally for 11 years. She now specialises in treating dancers and other performing artists, and is a member of the Osteopathic Performing Arts Care Association, and One Dance UK Healthcare Directory.
As an osteopath, Nonica uses her experiences and advanced understanding of body movement to effectively treat her patients, combined with the latest research. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a proud member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
